EVA Chosen for Newchip’s Seed-Stage Global Accelerator Program

Gaithersburg, MD, January 24, 2023 – EVA’s all-in-one events management platform, delivering transformational event experiences for associations, was accepted into Newchip’s renowned global accelerator program. Designed to provide all the skills and tools seed-stage founders need to fund, build and scale their companies rapidly, past accelerator cohorts averaged more than 17.5 times the average funding amount. The equity-free, fully digital accelerator has helped over 2,500 founders from more than 50 countries, and 250 cities raised over $2.2 billion in funding with an estimated portfolio of over $9 billion.

“Newchip evaluates a vast and diverse number of seed-stage companies from around the globe, selecting only a small percentage to be part of our Seed Accelerator program,” says Brian Lee, Head of Product at Newchip. “This careful vetting process of both the business model and founder makes us an ideal partner for venture capital investors and other key stakeholders in early-stage startup financings who are looking for promising startups that are beginning to generate traction and revenue. Event technology companies like EVA can scale quickly with proper funding and guidance. We are excited for EVA and believe they will be well positioned to take advantage of our fast-expanding global ecosystem at Newchip.”

Launched in January 2021, EVA is on a mission to transform the way associations deliver their meetings through next-gen technology and a focus on data. Since launching, the company has aided many associations in navigating the evolving events landscape with in-person, virtual, and hybrid events technology. EVA has also forged several vital partnerships with industry-leading organizations, like the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), Events Industry Council (EIC), MPI Potomac, and American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) to best serve the association events space.

“Being part of the Newchip Accelerator, we are looking forward to having access to globally distinguished business leaders who can help us deliver better event management experiences to associations,” says Vinnu Deshetty, CEO. “Being accepted into the accelerator program will have a significant impact on our ability to bring innovation and leadership in the association event space.”
